Prices will be based on:

  • Double Occupancy (two people sharing a room)
  • Single Occupancy
  • Non-golfer (double occupancy excluding green fees)

The Booking Process is easy and can be done in a few ways either online or via email or over the phone. There are a few steps to the booking process and we need to ensure your party details are confirmed before converting a quote into a booking. 

Follow these steps to book your golfing holiday:

  1. Submit a ‘Trip Quote’ Enquiry
  2. Consult with our travel experts. We will help you select the right hotels, golf courses and additional services according to your trip dates, budget and needs with a comprehensible quote.
  3. Once the quote is accepted and confirmed, we will provide your booking confirmation and a link to pay for the trip.

Currencies

All prices are quoted in AUD. We accept payments in AUD, NZD, USD, GBP and EUR. If you select to pay in any currency other than AUD, the package price will be converted at the daily mid-market rate. These prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations until full payment is received.

Payment Types

We accept payments via two methods:

  1. Bank Transfer (our bank details are outlined on your invoice)
  2. Credit Card – Secure online portal accepting:
    1. VISA – 1.7% surcharge
    2. Mastercard – 1.7% surcharge
    3. AMEX – 1.98% surcharge

All payment instructions are outlined on your invoice, including our bank details for transfers, and a secure link to pay online through our portal.

 

Invoices

Generally our trips are invoiced in two parts:

  • 25% Deposit due to confirm your place
  • 75% Balance invoice due 90 days prior to your trip

 

If your trip is booked within the 90-day range, we require full payment to confirm your booking. All payments are generally non-refundable; and we recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances. See the full terms and conditions here.

  • What is the best way to get to Barnbougle?

    If coming from the mainland, there are two options to get to Barnbougle Resort. 1. Fly to Launceston LST (rent a car or get a transfer) 2. Fly to Barnbougle (Charter flights only, minimum group of 8) If coming from Hobart, the only way to get to Barnbougle is a transfer or rental vehicle. The drive from Hobart is 2.5 hours.

  • Are buggies included?

    Golf is quoted as a green-fee only. It is important to note that ride-on buggies are only available at Barnbougle to people with a valid medical certificate. Buggies can only be driven by a caddie and the fee is AUD 120 for the cart & caddie, as well as a tip of over $ 20 to the caddie.

Your Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrivals

    • Arrive into Launceston Airport (LST) & Pick-up your rental car for four days. Check into the Dunes Accommodation at Barnbougle Resort for three nights (room upgrades available)
    • In the evening, savour local cuisine at The Lost Farm restaurant, overlooking Bass Street.

  • Day 2 - Play Lost Farm

    • After breakfast at the Resort, head over to driving range for a warm-up, before teeing off at The Lost Farm.
    • The Lost Farm, designed by Coore and Crenshaw, opened for play in 2010, with 20 holes to its name. This simple, true links course is our personal favourite at Barnbougle Resort, so enjoy a fantastic day on the links!
    • This evening, dine at the Bridport Pub and enjoy a chat with the friendly locals.

  • Day 3 - Play The Dunes

    • Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Resort before your final round of golf.
    • Today, you’ll play The Dunes Course at Barnbougle Resort. Designed by Tom Doak, this is the original course at Barnbougle which opened in 2004. What was originally a potato farm, Doak converted this stretch of land into one of the World’s Top 100 golf courses.
    • After golf, savour a light lunch at the Barnbougle Clubhouse, or head out to Bougle Run to play the short 12-hole course.

  • Day 4 - Departures

    • After breakfast at your leisure, check-out and drive to Launceston Airport (LST) for onward departures.

3. Make a Booking
Once your quote is confirmed, we'll provide you with an official confirmation, as well as a 25% deposit invoice. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. All our payment methods and instructions are provided on our invoices.
